For now what i’m missing?

A plugin to allow people to pay a rent for a zone to build, a Multiworld to allow people to mine and sell from another world.

Basically i want a Merchant zone, a Mining Zone, a griefing protection, permissions setup for those.

Unfortunately because of new work i have no time at the moment for that. So server won’t be fully ready until next month or so.

Meanwhile, you can visit it at minecraft.ragex.ca its updated to 1.8.1.

Finally have it!
i5 2.66ghz 16gb ram 2TB hd space 10TB monthly bandwith this is the new server which Minecraft and Terraria runs on.

As of now im looking for a list of plugins to include on both servers Minecraft and Terraria and they are both online. Only Terraria can be played without a password thought.

Currently testing maximum amount of players possible join in the test on

Java is wrong or Minecraft?

Having bought minecraft I did enjoy the game so far more than many games to the point I did buy a private server. But something wrong with this Game some game server of MMORPG’s run with 10 times the userbase and 10 times less ressources. I know Minecraft is in Beta yet its unrealistic that such a game use over 6GB of ram for 30 users around when I can run over 600 players on a Private server such as Lineage or Ragnarok Online.

Unfortunately the only servers running in C++ don’t have much plugins or are far from been fully functionnal.

Which means, that until a new server software opensource that have fully functionnal capacity is setup the server will not be able to run without running out of memory on my 3GB ram dedi box.

There something wrong with the coding to begin with but also JAVA, remember how much RAM Azureus use compared to Utorrent or Transmission or other Torrent engine? Java is been mostly used because of it’s multi-platform capacity and the amount of people that know how to code in java too.

Coding Minecraft server in C++ shouldn’t be so hard for a full team of programmers in multiplatform since most projects done by a ‘’one man’’ work is already multi-platform.

Do you think that a server of such a game like Minecraft should be using that much memory and processor?

Eve Online

You may notice the new Page and Subpage in Eve Online, Missions Lv 4 and all is subpage been a mission… This content isn’t made by me its a Backup content since Eve-survival.org is often down i decided to backup the infos for my personnal use and yours at the same time.

Also i still have a 30days keys on steam for Eve Online which only work on Trial accounts and maybe sponsor so whoever want a 21days sponsorship and try the 30days keys after to see if it works please leave a message in here in the comments form.

This year we had a lot of deceivement for some Brink was one but for me it wasn’t. Duke Nukem Forever was one of the biggest deception of a sequel in many ways for the fans…
But still this year i have many games on my wishlist….

Those are a part of the wishlist * thought Diablo 3, Rage, Deus Ex Human Revolution and Skyrim are already pre-ordered and pre-paid* they are a few other games which i would like to have and will eventually get *So many games i’ve spent money on so far…*

But what about you guys?
What are you waiting for? Which Game?

Brink Finally Rise

When i bought Brink i thought it was an awesome game but because of the unknown not many players were online…. Last week-end steam did a special week-end which allowed players to play Brink for free for the whole week-end the game rise from 80 to top 10 and players from 200 to over a thousand on steam.

With the free DLC addons it just improved the game in many ways, because even thought Brink customization was the thing that brought me to the game it is also Brink lack of maps that made me stop playing it and the new DLC just add a few more that surely will help the game out.
Of course we will need more than just 2 or 3 maps to bring most of this game, and surely the Level Gap doesn’t do much either when someone specialise in a class it doesn’t matter really….
But in the upcoming days i shall play more and see for myself if it did indeed bring a change to Brink

Dedicated Server – Terraria and Minecraft

Minecraft Castle been build

Lately i have bought a Dedicated Server for cheap from a certain host.

That box not been strong enought * its cheap so i don’t mind* have 2GB of ram and 1TB of space also Unmettered Bandwith and a 5TB of bandwith at premium speed of 100mbits per month which is damn enought for what i use it for.

So here we have The Minecraft Server Map which is updated in realtime and you can chat with users ingame *which is near None at the moment* and we also have a Terraria Server running under ubuntu and TDSM which have 40 slots open to see how much the server can handle.

If any bugs occur please send a comment here so i may become aware of it. Lots of work to do on minecraft and many permissions to set too.

The Login infos are as follow:

Minecraft Server ip: minecraft.ragex.ca

Terraria Server ip: minecraft.ragex.ca port 7777

With those details you should be able to connect

They is rules thought don’t abuse TNT, don’t destroy other people stuff the rest is just common sense if you see someone build on a island don’t go build on the same island.

Server Crash News

TNT island

Minecraft étant un petit jeu en Java * qui a mon grand étonnement n’a pas de version Android pour cellulaire * est supposé être un petit jeu au niveau ressource malheureusement, il utilise java qui lui absorbes les ressources de manière vorace.

Hier,
la jolie île de TNT sur la photo présente a causer le serveur en mode 64 bit a utiliser 8GIG de ram avant de complètement crasher. Un vidéo sera mis en ligne démontrer la belle explosion.
