After all the work it took me to get the game working without any crash to desktop the game took less time to finish. Of course i didn’t do much sidequest and only did mainquest. The story is lets just say kind of psychotic, from kids trying to kill you to a super mutant friend who goes right into a governement base to rescue you. Yeah, it’s a mess…

The game rocks but i did wish that the end wasn’t as lame as the current one. You have 3 differents endings, i thought that by sending the girl input the code and die id get to continue playing in this twisted world but no it isn’t like Oblivion. It has a end that is…

What it took me to get this awesome but short game running?

Defragmentation then do a clean installation of the skullptura rip and finalfix.skullptura .Install all the updates, close all the programs and add the FFdshow exception. Launch the game directly from “Fallout3.exe”. Terminate all background process from other applications. When i say the updates just check my previous post here.

When the developpement kit will be out we can expect much more from this game ( and less troubles running it also i hope ).

Après toute les démarches que j’avais essayé pour que le jeu fonctionne sans plantage au bureau. Sa ma pris moins de temps finir le jeu. Bien entendu, je n’ai pas fait beaucoup de quêtes hors de celle principale. Le jeu a une histoire asser psychotique et charmante a la fois. Des enfants qui essayes de vous tuer, un super mutant qui deviens votre amis et ce lance dans une base gouvernemental pour vous libérez. Un vrai désordre…

Le jeu est vraiment bien mais j’aurais souhaiter que la fin soit pas aussi nul que celle actuel. Sur les 3 fin différentes, j’ai penssé qu’envoyer la fille de l’ordre des lyons mettre le code et ensuite mourir me permettrais de continuer de jouer dans ce monde de fou. Mais non malheureusement ce n’est pas comme dans Oblivion… il y a actuellement une fin.

Comment j’ai enfin réussi a jouer au jeu ?

Débuté par une défragmentation, puis une réinstallation complète de skullptura rip et sont final fix. Installer toutes les updates mentionné dans l’article prédécent, ajouter l’exception a FFdshow. Puis lancer le jeu directement avec “Fallout3.exe”. Terminer toutes les processeurs en fond dans le gestionnaire de tâche.

Quand le coffre de développement sera disponible nous pourrons espèrer beaucoup plus de ce jeu ( et a la fois espérons le moins de problème pour jouer ).

Many People Complain this don’t work Fallout 3 is a spoiled Child he don’t tag well with other program try to leave a minimal amount of programs OPEN and the steps done in the Guide here. Example: Anti-Virus, Xfire, Fallout 3 that’s it. Update your Motherboard Bios for ASUS card series P5N, P5xxxx and more recent ones. VIDEO CORRUPTION IN THOSE CARDS RETAIL BIOS VERSION.

Plusieurs Personnes ce plaigne que ce guide ne fonctionne pas. Fallout 3 est un enfant gâté et n’aime pas les autres programmes laisser un minimum ouvert pour jouer en plus du guide. Exemple: Anti-Virus, Xfire et Fallout 3 seulement. ( Donc fermer Daemons tools etc ) Updater le Bios de vos cartes Mère ASUS dans les P5N P5xxx et plus récents. CORRUPTION GRAPHIQUE DU BIOS NON-UPDATER DES CARTES MÈRE VENDU.

Plusieurs personnes ici on des troubles qui peuvent être arrangé. Je vais donc lister quelques solutions que j’ai trouvé sur différents sites.

• Bien entendu le finalfix de skullptura pour ceux qui utilise le skullptura rip. Peu être trouvé dans l’article précédent ou ici.
• Au départ du jeu au menu New/Load/etc ouvrir la console du jeux et écrire “PipBoyRadioOff” . Ceci devrais arranger certains plantage dûe a la radio.
• Plusieurs personnes disent que configurer le jeu en window mode a fixer leur problème. Ouvrer le Fallout 3 Launcher , puis options et clicker windowed en bas a gauche.
• Defragmentation ( je recommende Auslogics Disk Defrag, pour les chanceux qui utilise Windows XP SP3 Ultimate de Mad Dog il est dans le panneau de configuration ) Les utilisateurs recommendes de désinstaller et réinstaller après la défragmentation. Je le recommende aussi car dans mon cas le jeu ne fonctionnais plus du tout.
• Dossier ver le jeu/Fallout3/Fallout3.exe click droit propriété puis compatibilité et cocher  “Désactiver les thèmes visuels”. Certaines personnes ont dit que cela aurais arrangé leur erreurs de retour au bureau.
• Codecs: FFDshow si vous avez le codec aller a “ffdshow audio decoder configuration”.Dans le menu de gauche “DirectShowControl” assurer vous que la boite “Don’t use ffdshow in” soit coché puis clicker sur “Edit” dans la fenêtre clicker sur “Add” parcourer jusqua votre executable “Fallout3.exe”.
• Dernier recours : Désinstaller votre pack de codecs ( je ne le recommande pas c’est le jeu qui est bugger et non vos autres programmes ).

Les mises a jour a faire…

• Mettre a jour votre système avec ( version 32 bits )Microsoft .NET Framework 3.0 x86 -> http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=70848

• xlive.dll est manquante veut simplement dire que vous n’avez pas installer les Live distribuables. Vous pouvez le trouvez ici.
• Bien entendu comme on le dit souvent, mettre a jour vos pilotes de cartes graphique et de carte de son si possible.
• Votre Bios de carte mère sur certain ordinateurs récents.

Malgré tout après toute ces settings mon problème n’est pas résolu mais p-e que le votre le sera.

Si vous avez d’autres suggestions hors de la liste ici ou une autre manière qui vous a permis de corriger un bug svp le faire parvenir ici.

Some people here have bugs that can be fixed so il gather a few fix that i found.

• Of course the skullptura final fix for those who use skullptura rip. Can be found on previous article or here.
• Right when the game starts, open the command-line and input “PipBoyRadioOff” without the quotes. That should fix some crash due to radio.
• Some people said running the game in Windowed mode fixed they probleme. So just launch Fallout3Launcher. Go to options then click windowed at bottom left.
• People uninstalled they codecs packs and they game freeze went away. ( i don’t recommend this one since it’s the game who is fuked up don’t uninstall everything for just 1 game ).
• Defragmentation ( i recommend Auslogics Disk Defrag, luckily it came with Windows XP SP3 by Mad dog. ) The user also recommend uninstall and reinstall after a defragmentation. I do too since the game wasn’t even working anymore after that…
• GamePath/Fallout3/Fallout3.exe Right click “Properties” then tab “Compatibility” and mark “Disable Visual Theme”. Some users said it stopped they crash to desktop.
• If you have FFdshow go to… “ ffdshow audio decoder configuration” in the most recent version go to DirectShowControl in the left panel check the mark “Don’t use ffdshow in” and add “Fallout3.exe” if they is app before add a “;” don’t forget to not put any space. You can also use the prog by clicking edit then add and browsing to the Fallout3.exe and then click apply and ok.

Updates to do…

• xlive.dll missing ( that’s not a bug that just someone who forgot to install the live distribuable ) you can find it here.
• Of course Update your drivers.  Nvidia or Ati and motherboard other components.

Still after all those settings it appear i didn’t fix my game.

Dans un article précédent, je vous parlais de Fallout 3 que j’avais essayé la version Skullptura. Une patch de l’auteur avais permis de fixer les crash causer par l’audio.( Celle-ci peu être retrouver sur le site ici

Malheureusement, plus j’avancais dans le jeu et plus les crash apparraissais et je suis rendu a un point ou j’ai perdu 80heures dans le jeu et que je suis obligé de repartir une game a partir de rien car toute mes Load/Saves ferme le jeu.

J’ai remarqué que la plupart des crash sans erreurs affichants occure dans des secteur tel que Rivet City et le monde souterrain des ghouls.

Ici ce n’est pas une question de carte vidéo ou de hardware car depuis le début je jouais en mode Ultra et ma carte BFG 280 GTX OC2 peu en prendre d’avantage sans problème. Le jeu allais bien au début avec le fix audio.

Les chôses que je dois tester…

• Trouver une version Reloaded sans le trojan ( donc une version non-décompresser du fichier image et avec les multiples archives .rar )
• Trouver le fichier Fallout 3.exe original ( version non cracker ) pour tenter d’upater avec la dernière patch la version skullptura. Si celà ne fonctionne pas tenter avec la version Reloaded.

• Si tout ceci ne fonctionne pas je devrais tout simplement me passer de ce jeu qui malheureusement est le seul jeu décent sortis dans les derniers mois.

J’ai essayer de trouver de l’aide sur mininova mais malheureusements les commentaires sont remplis de débutant qui ont de la misère a comprendre le mot compression. Ou qu’il ignore comment verifier si c’est un uploadeur vérifié.

Pour ceux qui veulent laisser des commentaires vous êtes les bienvenues tant que ceux-ci soit des suggestions ou des questions ayant un bon sens. Je posterais sur le site sous les différentes releases un lien vers ici.

In a previous article that i wrote in french, i was talking about this game and the first version that i’ve tryed. ( Skullptura rip ) After countless bugs related to audio files the guy released a fix ( u can download it from the site here of course this did prevent many crash for a while but then after some time in the game and level 20 ( even before that ) i had non-stop crashes. Those crashes are far more annoying than any errors because you don’t get any kind of information on why it crash. From the start i was using High graphics and i highly doubt that my BFG 280 GTX OC2 cannot handle the game because it did just fine from start.  Also loading previous saves keep on crashing especially those in regions like Rivet City surroundings and the ghouls underworld.

Now what i need to test is…

• Find a Reloaded Version without the ugly trojan ( a non-unrared multipled archives release ).
• Find the original Fallout 3.exe ( non-cracked version ) to try the latest game patch with Skullptura version then if it doesn’t work use the Reloaded version with the latest game patch.

• If all those doesn’t work then il just have to forget about this game which is the only good title released in the past months.

Tryed to seek help on mininova by reading comments but it’s full of garbage posts with newbs not been sure its a verify uploader or more garbage like this one.

Don’t download please! A great deal of time went into developing this game. It is immense. Gargantuan. Support Bethesda if you want an episode 4. PC developers needs our support if you want them to support the platform. Resident 5 is not simo released on pc, any idea why?
